We work with your utilities to establish the bill routing arrangement — either paper bills sent directly to Discovery, e-billing access, or utility portal access via Letter of Authorization. Payment is made from a designated funding account that you control, with Discovery managing the payment scheduling and reconciliation process.
What happens if a bill is incorrect or disputed?
Because our team reviews every bill before payment, we catch errors, unusual charges, and discrepancies during the review process — not after payment. Disputes are handled directly with the utility, and if a billing issue rises to the level of an audit finding, it’s escalated to our audit team for full resolution.
How do you handle late fees or service interruptions if something goes wrong?
Our process is designed to eliminate late payments. Every bill is tracked from receipt through payment with clear deadlines. In the rare event of a processing issue, we handle utility communication and resolution.
